The world has traditionally focused on the vast magnitude of any sort of nutritional deficiency, along with their associated mortality and mobility. However, the world is also seeing a dramatic increase in other forms of malnutrition characterized by obesity and long-term implications of unbalanced dietary and lifestyle practices that result in chronic diseases such as Cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Diet and nutrition are the important factors in the promotion and maintenance of good health throughout the entire life course. Their role as a determinant of chronic NCSs is well establishing and they, therefore, occupy a prominent position in preventive activities. All important aspects, signs, treatment will be discussed in the sub-tracks.
